Description & Usage

Polyimide, widely known as P84, is unique due to its trilobal (star-shaped) fiber cross-section, which provides a significantly higher surface area than circular fibers. This results in superior filtration efficiency and lower pressure drops. While it handles extreme heat and acidic environments exceptionally well, it is sensitive to high concentrations of alkalis and requires careful monitoring of moisture levels to prevent hydrolytic damage.
